Job Description
STOCK AND COST CONTROLLER
Location: Phu Kham Copper – Gold Operation
Roster: 20 days on, 8 days off
Reporting to the Administration Superintendent, you will lead the team responsible for controlling the catering warehouse that stores our food and beverage supplies for the busy camp kitchen, bar and minimart. You will work closely with the Head Chefs to order large quantities of fresh and canned food, ensuring high food safety standards, and controlling cost in line with the catering budget.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Controlling and managing the cost of catering orders
• Arranging monthly analysis and reconciliation of purchasing, bar trading figures and current stock
• Leading the team of stores people, accountants and shop staff
• Planning, organising and controlling the stores/stocks in a professional manner
• Promoting our Safety Culture and Company values
To be successful in this role, you will require:
• Degree qualification in Finance and Accounting or related fi eld
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in the position of cost controller or accountant within a catering environment
• Sound understanding of food supply
• Proven experience in leading and developing a team
• Good communications skills both in English and Lao
• Strong work ethic, flexible attitude and willingness to learn
