Job Description

Allianz General Lao (AGL), the leading insurance company in Laos, was established in 1990. Now, we are looking for dynamic employees to join with us in Headquarter office in Vientiane as below positions:

Research and Development Officer (1 position)


– Responsible to work and Study the current working process, documentations and propose action for designing and developing new products and processes with better innovative ones in accordance with market demands;
– Optimizing production by analyzing processes and identifying process conditions;
Be coordinator with regard of Department Management to work and follow up with IT to develop program, related functionalities to support Motor requirement in works of Underwriting and Data Entry areas;
Assist Department Management to work on developing statistics templates in system and follow up its development with IT.
– Assist Department Management Designing, installing and developing

Business plan to support Department.

– Work closely with IT to develop program user manual to support Underwriting and Data entry team in works;
– Work to extract information on account of client as per requested from others such as claims, Commercial and to provide report on real time request with regard of Department Management;
– Seek for the tool of new technologies to support on demand of Department needed such as: premium calculator to be used out of system;
– Work on others as required by Department Management;
Be direct report of Department Management;
– Provide an update on works through a monthly report to Department Management.


– Higher / bachelor Degree on business administration or others specifics areas such as: Mathematics, Statistics is a plus….;
– Experience on Business analysis / used to deal on case study or any research is a plus;
– English (Fluent in speaking, writing and reading English, French is a plus);
– Have knowledge on Insurance especially on Motor is a plus;
– Good communication skill and be able to provide action;
– Ability to work in a team environment;
– High responsibilities and engagement;
Good Computer skills (Word, Excel, Access is a plus).
