The Government of Lao PDR has received the Project Preparation Advance (PPA) on Protected Area and Wildlife Project (PAW) from the World Bank. The Project will be implemented by the Department of Planning and Cooperation (DPC) of the Ministry of Natural Resource and Environment (MoNRE). The project objective is to strengthen the participatory management of national protected areas and improve enforcement against illegal wildlife trade. It will be implemented in three main components two of which are divided in subcomponents.

DPC of MoNRE is now recruiting highly qualified candidates for the position of
PROJECT FINANCIAL STATEMENTS AUDIT
(The objective of the audit is to enable the auditor to express a professional opinion on the project’s receipts and expenditure for the period of the advance or from effectiveness of the advance to the end of the first fiscal year of the refinancing. The auditors will be advised by the project whichever is applicable as the audit period will depend on the refinancing date.
The project’s books of account provide the basis for preparation of the financial statements and are established to reflect the financial transactions in respect of the project).
