Job Description
CAREER OPPORTUNITY
Friends Without A Border (FWAB), a non-profit organization based in the U.S. and Japan, is in the process of building the Lao Friends Hospital for Children (LFHC) in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR.
The Lao Friends Hospital for Children will become a teaching hospital and serve as the pediatric wing of the Luang Prabang Provincial Hospital. The hospital services will include IPD, OPD, ER, ICU, OT, Radiology and Homecare/Outreach program to the underserved population of Luang Prabang Province. The LFHC will also develop programs aimed at training Laotian healthcare workers, reaching out the community to teach health promotion and disease prevention, and providing high-quality and compassionate care to the children of Lao PDR.
In close coordination with the Provincial Health Department of Luang Prabang, we are currently recruiting the first group of medical, paramedical and non-medical personnel to be in charge of providing medical care and managing the services of the LFHC.
This invitation is open to all motivated individuals wishing to improve their experience and professional skills in the following functions:
Medical Doctors
The minimum requirements to apply for any of these positions are:
– Lao nationality
– University Diploma or equivalent diploma for paramedical and non-medical staff
– Adequate clinical experience in hospital setting
– Basic English conversation skills
– Basic computer skills
